Steaks with Herb Butter

This recipe is made with Ribeye because they make the most juicy and flavourful steak. But if you prefer a different cut go ahead. These are pan - fried but you can also BBQ these as well. Just don’t pour the butter over in the BBQ.

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Mae's Seasonings Steak Rub
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp dried chives


  • Brush steaks with olive oil then rub in a generous amount of Mae’s Steak Spice Rub on both sides. Let sit in fridge for at least 6 hours. Let them rest at room temperature for half an hour before cooking.
  • Pan Fry these steaks in a cast iron skillet until your preferred doneness. But just before these are done brush with the herb butter and once melted keep pouring over steak until steaks are done.
