Mexican Burgers

This Mexican inspired burgers are made with Mae’s Chili and Taco Seasoning and topped with our   guacamole which is optional. For a complete meal serve with a salad. The mayo is also a good dipping sauce for French fries or yam fries.

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Chili & Taco
  • 1 tsp granulated onion
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup crushed Dorito chips
  • 4 slices cheese Monterey jack or cheddar
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Suggested Toppings:
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Sliced red onions
  • Banana peppers or jalapenos
  • Mexican Mayo:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Chili & Taco
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Juice from 1/2 lime
  • Guacamole optional
  • 1 large avocado
  • Juice from 1/2 lime
  • 2 - 4 tsp Mae’s Seasonings Guacamole
  • 1 tsp sea salt


  • If using guacamole mix together all ingredients and let sit in refrigerator for at least one hour.
  • In a medium bowl combine together ground beef, garlic, Mae’s Chili & Taco Seasoning, granulated onion, smoked paprika, egg and Doritos. Add salt and pepper if desired
  • Form into 4 patties and grill for 5 minutes per side or until cooked and no longer pink.
  • Place cheese on top and cook until cheese is melted.
  • Meanwhile mix together all ingredients for the Mexican mayo.
  • Serve with desired toppings and the Mexican mayo and guacamole if using.
