Garlic Chicken with Asparagus
Juicy and tender chicken thanks to the butter and lemon. Made with Mae's Garlic Lovers Dip Mix. This would also be a perfect meal for a low carb meal.

- cast iron skillet
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts cut in half horizontally
- 1 tsp Granulated onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp Mae’s Seasonings Garlic Lovers
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 bunch asparagus ends removed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Season chicken with granulated onion, salt and pepper.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat. When hot, add the oil and sear the chicken until golden, about 3 minutes per side.
- Melt the butter in same pan. Add Mae’s Garlic Lovers and cook for 30 seconds. Pour in lemon juice.
- Place in asparagus and scoop butter mixture over chicken and asparagus.
- Transfer to oven and cook 10 minutes. Remove chicken if no longer pink. Return to oven and cook until asparagus is cooked. Should be another 5 min.
