Chili Lime Cod
Fish marinated for just 20 minutes using Mae’s Chili Lime Rub. The lime butter makes a great addition to this. This recipe is oven baked but you can also BBQ the fish as well.
Ingredients
- 2 cod fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 - 2 tbsp Mae's Seasoning Chili Lime
- LIME BUTTER:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp Mae's Seasoning Chili Lime
Instructions
- Brush the oil over cod fillets then rub Mae’s Chili Lime Rub and let sit for 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- On medium - high heat in a cast iron heat some oil. When hot, add the cod and sear about 3 - 4 minutes per side.
- Transfer to oven and cook for about 5 - 7 minutes, depending on thickness of fish.
- Meanwhile, heat butter on medium - low heat; then add lime juice and Mae’s Chili Lime. Serve over fish.
